ABOUT KYLE
Meet Kyle.
At 26 years old, I am proud to call our community home. My wife and I are raising our three children here, and I am running for the Linden Unified School District Board because I want every student to have the same opportunities my own children deserve.
As a husband, father, and working professional, I understand the importance of responsible budgeting, accountability, and planning for the future. Families expect their tax dollars to be managed wisely, classrooms to be safe and effective learning environments, and decisions to be made with students’ best interests at heart.
If elected, I will advocate for academic excellence, fiscal responsibility, transparency, and open communication with parents, teachers, staff, and the community. I believe strong schools are built through collaboration, respect, and a commitment to preparing every student for success—whether that path leads to college, a trade, military service, or the workforce.
I am committed to listening, asking thoughtful questions, and making decisions based on facts rather than politics. Serving on the Linden Unified School District Board would be both an honor and a responsibility, and I will work every day to earn the trust of our community.
PRIORITIES
What Kyle wants
to work on.
Academic proficiency
Our schools are failing our students, and that needs to change. We are 10 points lower than the state average in basic math and English. 30% of students know math at grade level, while 38% of students are at grade level in English Language Arts (ELA).
Life skills / vocational training
Our schools’ job is to prepare our students for life after high school. We also need to put more emphasis on vocational training. If we are to train our students for the future, they ought to know about other career paths and have the ability to test the waters.
Refocus on basic education
We need to refocus on the basics, putting an emphasis on education rather than indoctrination. It is not our job to teach children about boys being girls and vice versa. That right should be given back to parents to teach their children.
Transparency & accountability
As a school district, it is our obligation to be responsible and transparent with our funds. Taxpayers deserve to know what dollar goes into what bucket and how we are working to improve our schools and not our pockets.
